System Administrator (Windows / Security / Intune / Azure DevOps)

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator who will take ownership of our Windows-based infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and smooth operation across internal environments.
The role combines classical sysadmin tasks, endpoint and security management, and support for our development teams (e.g., Azure DevOps, build agents, Intune-managed devices).

You will collaborate with our IT department in Asia and our engineering teams in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Servers

• Administer Windows Servers (AD, DNS, file services, remote access, policies).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, backups, and patching.
• Configure and maintain VPN access and security policies.

Security

• Implement and monitor Windows Defender, BitLocker, and other endpoint protections.
• Participate in internal security audits and vulnerability management.
• Manage access policies (least privilege, MFA, password rotation, RBAC).
• Respond to security alerts and incidents in coordination with global IT.

Developer Support

• Provide technical support to developers (Windows workstation setup, network access, certificates, build tools).
• Manage Azure DevOps agent pools and permissions.
• Troubleshoot local and remote environment issues (VPN, repositories, credentials, pipelines).

Intune & M365

• Configure and manage Microsoft Intune (device compliance, application deployment, updates).
• Maintain device inventory and enforce security baselines.
• Manage M365 tenant settings related to security and compliance.

Collaboration

• Work closely with IT & Security teams in Asia (English communication).
• Maintain internal documentation, access matrixes, and SOPs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system administration (Windows Server / AD).
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
  • Microsoft Azure Entra ID (Understanding of Azure RBAC and IAM)
  • Azure DevOps permissions / agent management
  • Active Directory / Group Policy
  • Windows Server / PowerShell or Bash
• Good communication skills in English (written & spoken).
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.

Nice to Have

• Experience with network devices (VPN, firewall, routers).
• Basic Linux knowledge (for hybrid environments).
• Experience in a distributed company setup.
