Nauchsoft is an international IT consulting and software development company. We have been in the IT business for 36 years and continue growing.

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise environment and support critical IT infrastructure operations.

This role is prospective and has been created in line with the company’s planned team expansion.

The role combines infrastructure engineering, systems administration, automation, and operational support across Windows, Linux, virtualization, cloud services, and identity platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring stability, security, scalability, and availability of enterprise systems while driving automation and infrastructure improvements.

This position follows US East Coast business hours:

• Standard schedule: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
• Flexible option: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST
• Approximate schedule for Eastern Europe: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM

You must be comfortable working in this time zone.

• Design, maintain, and manage enterprise server and application environments.
• Ensure high availability and operational performance of IT infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using PowerShell, Terraform, and related tools.
• Support Windows and Linux server environments.
• Manage and maintain VMware infrastructure, including vSphere and Horizon.
• Administer Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, and enterprise identity solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as an escalation point for engineering teams.
• Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Manage vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Coordinate change management activities and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and systems administration.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
  • VMware vSphere and Horizon.
  • Windows Server 2019/2022.
  • Windows 11 administration.
  • Linux server administration.
• Strong PowerShell scripting experience for:
  • automation.
  • software deployment.
  • system hardening.
  • configuration management.
• Experience with:
  • Active Directory.
  • Azure AD.
  • Microsoft Intune.
  • Terraform.
• Experience with cloud services and identity platforms.
• Experience with MFA and SSO solutions such as:
  • Okta.
  • Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Duo.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Networking knowledge (Layer 2 / Layer 3).
• Microsoft SQL Server.
• SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup solutions.
• Experience with:
  • Cohesity.
  • Pure Storage.
• Project coordination or technical leadership experience.
