We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer. This role is prospective and has been created in line with the company’s planned team expansion.

About the Project:

The project focuses on building and maintaining enterprise-level cloud computing infrastructure.
The engineer will be involved across the full solution delivery lifecycle — from requirements and architecture to implementation and operational support.

The role provides broad exposure to:

• Enterprise infrastructure environments;

• Modern cloud platforms;

• High availability systems;

• Automation, monitoring, capacity, and security-related initiatives.

Technical Environment:

Operating Systems / Servers

• Microsoft server environment;

• Windows Server 2012–2022 (maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, deployment, migration).

Virtualization / Storage / Backup:

• VMware ESXi;

• Storage technologies related to virtualization;

• Backup solutions relevant to enterprise environments.

Cloud / SaaS:

Administration of:

• Office 365;

• Azure resources;

• AWS.

Directory / Identity / Authentication:

• Active Directory;

• Entra ID;

• LDAP, NPS, PAM;

• SSO technologies (SAML);

• Authentication, authorization, and accounting concepts.

Networking:

• Network protocols and services:

• IP, FTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, NFS, SNMP, BGP, SSH, SFTP, VPN;

• Network hardening;

• Firewall devices;

• ACL management;

• Network segmentation in medium to large infrastructures.

Tools & Processes:

• Monitoring, alerting, analytics, and change management tools;

• Scripting and task automation;

• Performance tuning and capacity management;

• OS hardening, patching, and remediation.

Communication:

• Telephony;

• MS Teams.

Team & Collaboration:

• Reports to Associate Director, Infrastructure & Security Operations;

• Partners with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects;

• Provides Tier 3 support for Service Desk;

• Interaction with IT staff and vendors in troubleshooting contexts.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain enterprise-level cloud infrastructure;

• Design and implement services with focus on: High availability, Automation, Capacity, Monitoring, Security;

• Participate in all phases of solution delivery: Requirements, Architecture, Design, Implementation, Support;

• Develop implementation plans, scripts, and testing procedures;

• Ensure availability and performance of mission-critical systems;

• Create and maintain backup and restoration procedures;

• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans;

• Evaluate and implement new technologies; updаtеexisting infrastructure;

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; interact with vendors;

• Forecast system demands and recommend upgrades or reconfiguration;

• Support infrastructure projects and assist Service Desk (Tier 3);

• Enforce best practices in configuration, monitoring, alerting, patching, and security;

• Manage Windows and VMware systems, establish OS build standards, perform quarterly patching;

• Mentor and cross-train team members;

• Conduct security reviews and technical inspections;

• Implement procedures to monitor systems for suspicious activity.

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years of IT experience in an enterprise operational environment;

• Strong experience with Windows Server 2012–2022;

• 5+ years of experience with:

• Active Directory;

• VMware;

• Entra ID;

• Office 365;

• Azure resources.

Must-Have Skills:

• Enterprise Windows Server administration;

• Networking fundamentals and listed protocols;

• VMware ESXi;

• Storage and backup technologies;

• Monitoring and alerting tools;

• Identity and access management (AD, Entra ID, SSO, LDAP, etc.);

• Office 365, Azure, AWS administration;

• Scripting and automation;

• OS hardening, patching, performance tuning, capacity management.

Nice to Have:

• Microsoft and/or Network administration coursework or certifications;

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
