Sunmait Technologies is an international software development company with experience in the markets of North and Central America, Europe, and MENA. We are a team of talented and innovative professionals. We develop our own products and provide services for the development of web-oriented solutions and mobile applications.
We are currently actively seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to work as part of a team on a project in the construction industry.

Project Description

The IoT platform leverages over a century of construction expertise, using a vast network of sensors to monitor equipment, materials, and personnel. Its core function is to collect, organize, and present this data to users via an interface, offering services like monitoring, big data processing, and logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Writes lots of bug-free, efficient, scalable, and reusable code;

• Designs and develops components and features with performance and scalability in mind;

• Builds applications that can handle complex data efficiently;

• Unit tests and takes responsibility for the quality of your own code and the code of your team;

• Provides input on our architecture;

• Consults with product managers to define, scope, and plan new features;

• Works with QA to ensure that cohesive, quality, usable solutions are produced;

• Tests, evaluates, and recommends technologies to improve our overall solutions;

• Is a key participant in our agile development process;

• Produces excellent documentation.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional development experience;

• Intimately familiar with the fundamentals of computer science and software architecture;

• Experience with large-scale data systems;

• Substantial experience with React.js, TypeScript and HTML/CSS;

• Experience with Node.js, especially in microservices, is highly preferred;

• Experience with message queueing architectures, especially RabbitMQ, is preferred;

• Substantial experience with SQL and NoSQL DB;

• Experience with containerized application deployments, especially using Docker, is highly preferred;

• Any IoT experience is a huge plus;

• Can create designs and build an application from requirements and discuss with product and engineering stakeholders;

• Experience executing products, features, or enhancements utilizing the full development lifecycle;

• Experience supporting production products;

• The level of spoken English from B2;

• Availability for up to 12 pm EST.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with Amazon Web Services, especially EC2, S3, VPC, Elasticsearch, and Kinesis;

• Has a passion for decomposing monolithic applications into more modern microservices.
