We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Presales Engineer to join our Technical Department. With over 25 years of development experience, our offering includes standalone products and expert-led services for database and application migrations using proprietary solutions. Depending on our customers’ needs, we position products, services, or a combination of both to deliver fast, cost effective, and tailored migration solutions. The Presales Engineer will play a critical role in showcasing these capabilities, engaging with customers and supporting the sales process

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technical services and software products, programming languages, and databases and communicate the value proposition to customers.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations showcasing our products, services, or combined solutions.
• Clearly communicate the technical and business benefits of each offering, emphasizing customer-specific value.
• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and business goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that meet unique customer needs, whether through products, services, or both.
• Prepare detailed technical & commercial proposals, including PnL analysis, ensuring they reflect the chosen solution approach.
• Ensure proposals highlight the value, cost savings, and speed advantages of our solutions.
• Serve as the technical interface between sales, technical teams, and customers to ensure smooth communication and solution alignment.
• Support customer evaluations during trial phases by providing necessary information and addressing solution-related inquiries.
• Gather feedback and relay insights to improve product and service offerings.
• Partner with the sales team to develop positioning strategies, adapting to whether the engagement is product-focused, service-focused, or hybrid.
• Work with designers and technical experts to develop supporting materials tailored to client engagements.
• Provide strategic insights to ensure solutions meet client needs while aligning with company objectives.
• Maintain detailed records of presales activities and provide status updates to management.
• Ensure timely follow-up and proactive management of presales opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of presales experience
• Strong interpersonal skills for building trust with customers and collaborating with internal teams.
• Highly self-motivated, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Understanding of database technologies and migration processes (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand terms for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in English: B2 or above required, with the ability to communicate fluently in technical and business contexts An additional foreign language is a plus.
• Work experience with JIRA/Confluence

Would be a plus:

• Experience in technical consulting, or database migration.
