We are planning to expand our team in the near future and looking for a Middle SysOps/Network Engineer to take full ownership of our critical network infrastructure and hybrid server environment. The ideal candidate will have deep, practical experience with network administration (routing, switching, firewalls), Linux/Windows server management, and a relentless focus on ensuring maximum stability and uptime for our production systems.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of our hybrid server and network infrastructure (across cloud and physical locations), ensuring maximum uptime, security, and performance.
• Design, configure, and manage all network hardware and services, including routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Range), and secure VPN solutions.
• Administer and maintain critical Linux and Windows server environments, focusing on patching, security hardening, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Implement and enforce network security protocols (ACLs, segmentation, intrusion detection) and maintain strong access control mechanisms.
• Develop automation scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to streamline system administration tasks, automate routine maintenance, and standardize server deployments.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and rapidly resolve system outages to minimize service disruption.

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a SysOps, Network Administrator, or System Engineer role.
• Strong expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hands-on experience configuring commercial or open-source network devices.
• Proven experience administering and securing Linux (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS/OracleLinux) and Windows Server operating systems.
• Solid understanding of network security concepts, firewall management, and intrusion detection systems.
• Experience managing and optimizing relational and non-relational databases for stability and uptime.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts in platforms like Digital Ocean (or AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).
