Junior Database Migration Expert

We are looking for a Junior Database Migration Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing database migration projects, helping customers with their migration journey using our products.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Supporting users conducting migration projects with the help of our company's products.
• Development and implementation of database migration solutions.
• Optimization and modification of existing migration solutions in the company's products.
• Participating in meetings and business communications with our customers.
• Participation in pre-sales processes - hosting calls, presentations and webinars. Participating in conferences.
• Participation in end-to-end service projects for database migration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or final year student in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge in working with any of the RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in database design including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers.
• General understanding of database design, objects and architecture.
• Knowledge of algorithms basics and data structures.
• English speaking and writing skills (B2 or above).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Client-oriented and ability to make calls with clients on your own.
• Ability and desire to grow.

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge in Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of DWH systems.
• Experience in working with Linux based operating systems.
• Knowledge of programming basics (JAVA, C#).
• Experience in optimizing SQL queries.
• Basic knowledge of administering one or several DBMSs.
• Work experience with JIRA/Confluence.
