We’re hiring a Java Developer to join our growing team!

Project:

Work on a cutting-edge American aviation project that makes a real impact. The project aims to improve aircraft uptime in the aviation industry by implementing a technology platform for managing maintenance and manuals. The platform provides real-time visibility of maintenance, operations, and regulatory data, an intuitive interface, and an intelligent database that leverages AI and machine learning. The project will involve integrating the platform into existing aviation systems and training personnel on its use. The expected outcome is an increase in aircraft uptime, reduced waiting times, improved efficiency, and reduced costs.

What we’re looking for:

• Commercial development experience: 3+ years;
• Proficiency in Java 11 and Spring Boot;
• Experience with SQL Server or MariaDB (preferred), or other relational databases;
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Hudson);
• Understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, SOLID, and DRY principles;
• Proficient with Maven or Gradle, and Git;
• Solid understanding of the REST approach and hands-on experience with RESTful APIs;
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure;
• Proficiency in working with Kubernetes (k8s);
• Experience in writing unit tests;
• English level B2 or above.

Additional skills:

• Proficiency with JPA/Hibernate;
• Experience working with NoSQL databases;
• Familiarity with Apache Solr or Elasticsearch.
