Your daily routine would include:

• Collaborating with a team of experts to plan, implement, and support a robust Hyper-V and VMware strategy for over 500 server systems, ensuring continuous and efficient operations;

• Confidently clarifying complex topics during direct interactions with customers, providing them with clear, concise, and actionable information;

• Utilizing established automation tools to implement the regular patching strategy, preparing necessary reports, performing compliance checks, and ensuring all tasks are coordinated with relevant peers for efficient execution;

• Working alongside technical leads to develop and optimize operational processes in line with ITIL best practices, ensuring that all processes are aligned with both business and technical requirements;

• Leveraging my in-depth knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware to evaluate new functionalities, assess their potential impact, and determine their productive application in the existing environment;

• Ensuring operational compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI), while handling complex, cross-functional customer issues in a solution-oriented manner to maintain high standards of service delivery.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• 1-year experience in the company;

• Several years of experience in the ICT environment with a focus as a virtualization administrator;

• Experience with Hyper-V and VMware design, architecture, maintenance, an automation with PowerShell will be consider as an advantage;

• Recommending and instituting optimizations to the Hyper-V and VMware virtualization environment.

• Interpreting Hyper-V and VMware performance trends for capacity planning purposes.

• Microsoft Failover Clustering, including Configuration, CAU, VMware vCenter and ESXi.

• Experience with Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016 \ Active Directory 2016, 2019 and 2022.

• Experience with SCVMM will be consider as an advantage.

• Superior problem solving, design, and analytical skills.

• Very good written and spoken English skills.

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Certifications regarding your skills;

• Solid understanding of Hyper-V performance analysis tools and methods;

• Hands on experience tuning Hyper-V for a data center environment;

• Expertise with VMware vSphere 7.x (P)VLANs/DVS, DNS, vCenter;

• Powershell cmdlets, block storage, file storage, experience with alternative vendors, virtualization techniques, host based backup experience, HPE Oneview/ HP Synergy hardware.
