Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Define scope, objectives, and deliverables; create project plans, timelines, and budgets; allocate resources; manage execution.

  • Solution Assessment: Evaluate available market products vs. custom development; advise on the most cost-effective and sustainable approach (build vs. buy).

  • Estimation & Cost Analysis: Support and validate delivery estimates; contribute to infrastructure and operational cost calculations (e.g., cloud, licenses, integrations).

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure business continuity.

  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate status updates, manage expectations, and align technical outcomes with business goals.

  • Quality Assurance & Metrics: Ensure deliverables meet standards and KPIs; monitor progress against defined metrics.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in delivery and project management practices.

  • Change Management: Handle scope, priority, and timeline changes; manage change requests with stakeholders.

  • Compliance & Security: Ensure alignment with data protection, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Resource & Capacity Management: Forecast resource needs, support recruitment, and optimize team allocation.

  • Presale Support: Participate in discovery phases, prepare WBS, and contribute to client proposals.

Experience & Skills:

  • Technical Background: Preferably 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of system architecture principles and technical design; ability to work with C1–C2 diagrams; experience participating in technical discussions, validating architecture consistency, reviewing estimates, and providing reasoned feedback.

  • Solution Evaluation: Proven ability to assess technical proposals and recommend optimal solutions.

  • Cost Estimation: Familiarity with infrastructure pricing models (cloud, licenses, support) and ability to assist with cost calculations.

  • Project/Program Management: 7+ years of IT project/programme leadership in Fixed Price, Time & Material, and other delivery models.

  • Team Leadership: Experience managing teams of 25+ members in distributed or cross-functional setups.

  • Delivery Management: Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk and change management, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Leadership Skills: Skilled in motivating teams, resolving conflicts, and driving decision-making.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical and delivery-related challenges, including validation of estimates and deliverables.

  • Process & Quality: Experience with KPIs, SLAs, and quality frameworks.

  • Methodologies: Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • English – Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
