Job duties shall include general legal corporate and commercial support with focusing on 3 directions within legal department.
PSP support:
- Drafting/reviewing complex commercial agreements to support PSP department (merchant and referral agreements).
- Support PSP department in legal matters (signing, KYC, debt recovery, etc.)
Compliance with iGaming requirements:
- Drafting/reviewing complex commercial agreements related to provision of services and software under White label model, insurance, that specific operational requirements are introduced into draft agreement.
- Research on legal/compliance requirements and drafting/reviewing Terms & Conditions to operate an internet site, close collaboration with production and post-production teams on specific requirements to the internet sites in iGaming industry (notices, footers, legal texts, etc.)
- Taking part in resolving dispute situations providing legal opinion on T&C application, clarification and construing T&Cs, application to a particular situation
- Feasibitly/risk study of different jurisdictions regarding compliance specifics, risks and propose measures to mitigate/eliminate risks. Maintenance of internal data-base on different jurisdictions.
- Legal support in drafting/reviewing specific policies related to iGaming.
B2B international compliance support
- Research on legal/compliance requirements for providers of software (B2B) to iGaming operators in different jurisdictions.
- Feasibility study of requirements (including legal and technical), collaboration with technical certification specialist.
- Maintenance of internal data-base of requirements to B2B providers in iGaming for different jurisdictions
General legal support
- Draft, review and negotiate on a wide range of commercial, iGaming and software contracts;
- Support on different legal aspects, such as consumer affairs, employment, data protection, governance, regulation, intellectual property and technology;
- Liaise with external advisors, regulatory bodies and other third parties where necessary;
- Handle various litigious and non- litigious matters, including coordination with various external law firms as and when required;
- Deal with a variety of legal topics related to the operation of the company, project and process work in close collaboration with internal teams;
- Various other responsibilities within their area of competence as the company may from time to time require.
Requirements
- Must hold a Law Degree with strong academic credentials;
- Proven work experience of at least 7 years, preferably in consulting, E-Commerce, iGaming and/or Fintech;
- Outstanding knowledge of Legal/Business English (verbal and written);
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of main principles of commercial and contract law, corporate law, IP, data protection; experience working in an international environment, profound understanding of the international law principles;
- Proven experience in agreements drafting (complex and high-value - services, technology etc.);
- General understanding of AML/CTF issues;
- Experience in consulting, online, B2B, E-Commerce, e-gaming and banking industries, knowledge of the IT products would be an advantage.
