We are looking for a talented Ruby Developer who will be involved in our Connector system's ongoing building and improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Development of new Connector custom scripts using Ruby according to tasks decomposed by the Team Leader in Jira

• Investigation of the 3rd party services API and other technical documentation

• Support of existing Connector scripts: developers' logs monitoring, problem investigation, and fixing according to user requests

• Changes implementation to Connector scripts according to BA specifications and described requirements

• Code coverage with all tests required by Company standards

• Verification of the developed scripts results and initial testing, appeared cases investigation, and fixing

• Redesign, modernization, and optimization of old scripts according to logical input provided by the Team Leader

• Collaboration with other specialists to design new or enhance existing business logic, including specifications verification and compliance with the current system

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year experience in Ruby

• Good knowledge of MySQL

• Good knowledge of XML, JSON, and web services principles (REST, SOAP)

• Experience with Git or other versioning system

• Basic knowledge of Microservices Architecture

• Ability to learn quickly, self-teach when required, and effectively seek out resources and information as needed

• Strong problem-solving and root-cause identification skills

• Fluency in reading technical documentation in English
