Andersen is looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Java) for a project with an international banking group. The role focuses on testing digital banking solutions, mainly in the retail sector.

The customer is a leading international banking group, operating for over four decades across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The organization provides a wide range of services, including corporate banking, trade finance, treasury solutions, Islamic banking, and retail banking, with physical branches in five countries and a fast-growing fully digital mobile bank. It is recognized for its commitment to digital transformation through dedicated innovation units and digital platforms, including a fully digital retail bank.

The project is focused on enhancing digital banking channels and expanding online banking services. A key area of development is the retail segment, where the team will work on improving and delivering new digital solutions to enhance customer experience and broaden the bank’s retail offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing test scripts for products while identifying deficiencies.
• Suggesting solutions to identify product problems.
• Investigating product quality to implement improvements for enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
• Identifying quality assurance process bottlenecks and proposing improvement actions.
• Collecting quality data.
• Determining key KPIs for product quality.
• Preparing and presenting reports and metrics to Senior Management.
• Coordinating with UAT teams to maintain consistent project execution.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a QA for 3+ years.
• Experience with coding using Java.
• Experience with software QA tools and processes.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience in using Jira and confluence.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to drive to goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining strong attention to details.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash and Python.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
