Product:

The Stored Value Platform (SVP) - the platform of various web services both internal and external. It is the back-end service that enables IDT to sell and service prepaid debit cards that are accepted on the Visa and network in the US.SVP works with 3rd party systems and organizations, such as card printers, processing centers, and banks.

Requirements:

• Experience 0,5 years OR Links to your GitHub with open repositories.

• Basic knowledge of Java Core and Java J2EE.

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Core, and Hibernate

• Exposure to working with Docker.

• Experience with Oracle and MongoDB.

• Basic understanding of algorithms and how to apply them in problem-solving

• Experience with CI/CD: Jenkins.

• Solid Git skills, including familiarity with merge, rebase, and cherry-pick operations, etc.

• Awareness of Clean Code principles (willingness to learn and apply them).

• Experience conducting code reviews and ensuring test coverage is met and maintained.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) is a plus.

• Experience with AWS as a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop microservices in Java and Spring Boot.

• Creating Docker images and Kubernetes chartres for deploying services both to on-prem and AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Working with both relational(Oracle) and non-relational(MongoDB) databases. Migrating data from oracle to mongoDB.

• Participating in scrum team activities(Daily meetings, planings, gromings, retrospectives).

• Covering code with automated tests.
