The Event Logistics Manager coordinates and manages all logistical aspects of fairs, events, demos, and exhibitions/trade shows held across the globe to ensure seamless execution. This role requires strong expertise in logistics, customs, project management, and communication to effectively liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

1) Logistical Planning

• Develop and execute detailed logistics plans, including scheduling, budgeting, transportation, and worldwide customs clearance.
• Oversee event preparation, ensuring the timely delivery of equipment from multiple origins to destinations.

2) Delivery Coordination

• Prepare necessary documentation for global freight movement.
• Book transportation (air, road, sea, or courier) to ensure timely delivery across worldwide regions, including the EU, US, and Middle East.
• Collaborate with customs brokers to expedite freight release and resolve customs-related issues.
• Arrange storage and cargo handling services as needed.

3) Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouses.
• Negotiate terms to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve vendor-related issues to uphold service quality and meet deadlines.

4) Communication and Coordination

• Act as the primary logistical contact, ensuring clear and timely communication among exhibitors, customers, vendors, and team members.
• Proactively address and resolve issues to ensure adherence to timelines and plans.
• Oversee all logistical aspects to guarantee seamless execution of events worldwide.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency to communicate effectively in a global environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, Foreign Trade, Operations, or a related field.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or procurement to manage global equipment movements.
• Strong multitasking, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
• A team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as required, especially for events in multiple time zones.
• Exceptional attention to detail to maintain high standards across all logistical aspects.
